Paradeep-Kendujhargarh Passenger Train To Begin Regular Service from March 8th

Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the long-awaited passenger train services on the Haridaspur-Paradeep Rail Line and the New Delhi-bound Express from Puri via Kendujhargarh. The inauguration took place yesterday via video conferencing from Chandikhol, with Governor Raghubar Das, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, and Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan and Bishweswar Tudu in attendance.

The newly introduced trains, flagged off on their inaugural journeys, were initially operated as special trains. Regular services for the Paradeep-Keonjhargarh passenger train will commence from March 8th, while the Puri-Anand Vihar-Puri Express via Kendujhargarh will begin its regular run from March 9th.

The Paradeep-Keonjhargarh-Paradeep MEMU Passenger Special (Train No. 08406/08405) will depart from Paradeep at 0530hrs, reaching Kendujhargarh at 1125hrs. On the return journey, it will depart from Kendujhargarh at 1630hrs and arrive at Paradeep at 2130hrs. Stops will include Siju, Nuagaon, Kalaghar, and others along the route.

The Puri-Anand Vihar-Puri Express via Kendujhargarh (Train No. 18427/18428) will depart from Puri at 0415hrs every Saturday, reaching Anand Vihar at 1310hrs every Sunday. On its return journey, it will depart from Anand Vihar at 1720hrs every Sunday and arrive at Puri at 2355hrs every Monday. Stops will include Sakhigopal, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, and others.
