Subroto Bagchi Appointed as Chief Advisor for Odisha’s Civil Services Training

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister, Naveen Patnaik, has appointed Subroto Bagchi as the chief advisor to the state government for enhancing institutional capacity across all civil services training institutions. Bagchi has been bestowed with the rank and status of a Cabinet Minister.

Notably, he previously served as the chairman of the Odisha Skill Development Authority.

In his new role, Bagchi will be responsible for crafting a forward-looking vision for civil services training institutions, aiming to elevate them to global standards. His expertise will be instrumental in building leadership capabilities for both entry-level and in-service civil servants in the state.

The appointment reflects the government’s commitment to strengthening its civil services and fostering professional development among its administrative staff.
