Two Nabbed For Duping Rs 5.48 Lakh For Providing Jobs In Railways

Bhubaneswar: Two persons were arrested for allegedly duping Rs 5.48 lakh on the pretext of providing jobs in the Railways. Both the accused have been nabbed from Bhubaneswar.

The accused have been identified as Suresh Parichha (29) and Biswanath Andarpu (39) respectively of Burujanga village under Raigad police limits and Badadeula village under Gurandi police limits in Gajapati district.

According to the police, the duo had allegedly taken Rs 2.10 lakh from one Pintu Patra of Sara village of Khandaba panchayat under Kashinagar block promising to get him a job in the Railways.

Similarly, the duo had allegedly taken Rs 3.38 lakh from one Jitendra Das of Aloda village promising to get him a job in the Railways.

Both Pintu and Jitendra had lodged a complaint against the duo at Kashinagar police station. Police said the fraudsters have several cases of cheating against their names in different police stations including one at Mohana.

Under instructions of Gajapati SP Swati S Kumar a special team was formed to nab the fraudsters. The special team today nabbed the fraudsters from Bhubaneswar.
