Union Railway Minister Hints Second Vande Bharat Express Likely In Odisha Soon

Bhubaneswar: Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw hinted second Vande Bharat Express in Odisha soon during the flagging-off ceremony of the Howrah-Puri Vande Bharat Express on Thursday.

Vaishnav said, “The second Vande Bharat Express train in Odisha is likely to run on the Puri-Bhubaneswar-Cuttack-Angul-Rourkela route.”

The minister also said that there are plans to introduce a Vande Metro service on the Puri-Bhubaneswar-Cuttack route.

According to Vaishnav, Vande Metro, and Vande Sleeper trains will become operational after the Vande Bharat Express train.
