Samsung Introduces New File Sharing App Called Dropship

New Delhi: Samsung has introduced a new file-sharing app called Dropship that is aimed at allowing users to transfer files across devices effortlessly.

Dropship allows users to create links or QR codes for file sharing with setting options like a validity period.

The app also allows users to transfer files up to 5GB in size daily.

However, if you want to send files larger than 5GB, relying on Nearby Share or Quick Share might prove more convenient.

However, it comes with some restrictions that might cause you not able to use the app at all.

The file sender needs to have an Android 13 device with OneUI 5 on top – currently a Galaxy S22 series exclusive and a Samsung account.

The recipient does not need to have the app or a registered Samsung account and just scans the QR code which initializes the file download automatically.
