Aussie Media Begin Mind Games, Accuses Jadeja Of Ball Tampering

Nagpur: It is so true that if you are playing against Australia, you are not only dealing with the sporting team but also with their media.

It does not matter where the game is being conducted and which team is another side. Aussie media will definitely make their points out of the stadium.

Fox cricket, and the Australian media, have accused Ravindra Jadeja of using an external substance on his fingers while bowling on Day 1 of the opening Test in Nagpur.

For the record, Jadeja was applying an ointment for soreness on his finger and is very much within the rules of the game.

Jadeja was away from cricket for almost five months and isn’t used to bowling long spells. On Thursday, he bowled 22 overs and had soreness in his fingers, which is why he was applying pain-relief ointment.

In the last couple of days, Fox cricket has made several accusations against the Indian team, starting with calling the Nagpur wicket a disgrace, then even questioning the DRS decision that went against Usman Khawaja, and now this.

Jadeja picked up the all-important wickets of Marnus Labuschagne, Steve Smith, Matt Renshaw, Peter Handscomb and Todd Murphy.
