Dense Fog Blankets Twin Cities Reducing Visibility

Bhubaneswar/Cuttack: A thick blanket of fog enveloped the Twin Cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar in the early hours of Friday resulting in a significant drop in visibility.

The visibility was reportedly reduced to as low as 20-30 metres in some places of the cities.

Isolated places in Puri, Ganjam, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Nayagarh, Khurda and Kandhamal also experienced moderate to heavy fog.

These places experienced dense fog till 8.30 am forcing the traffic to crawl. Motorists were seen having a tough time due to the foggy weather conditions.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) had issued dense fog warning on Thursday for several districts in Odisha during the next two days.
