ICC ODI World Cup 2023 Schedule Announced: India-Pakistan Clash on October 15

Mumbai: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has unveiled the schedule for the much-anticipated ODI World Cup 2023. The tournament will commence on October 5 at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium, with a thrilling clash between England and New Zealand. The highly anticipated India-Pakistan encounter, considered one of the biggest matches of the tournament, is set to take place on October 15, also in Ahmedabad.

A total of 10 teams will participate in the mega event, with eight teams already qualified through the Cricket World Cup Super League. The remaining two spots will be determined at the end of the Qualifier tournament in Zimbabwe, concluding on July 9.

India’s campaign will begin against Australia on October 8 in Chennai, followed by a match against Afghanistan on October 11 in Delhi. After the highly anticipated clash with Pakistan, they will face Bangladesh on October 19 in Pune. Matches against New Zealand, England, and South Africa are also on the schedule.

The semifinals will take place on November 15 and 16 in Mumbai and Kolkata, respectively, with the final set to be held in Ahmedabad on November 19.

The ODI World Cup 2023 promises an exciting series of matches, with fans eagerly anticipating intense rivalries and captivating performances from some of the world’s best cricketing nations.
