7 for 0: Indonesian Teenager Spins History with Best-Ever T20I Bowling Figures

In a historic moment for Indonesian cricket, 17-year-old off-spinner Rohmalia Rohmalia has set a new record in T20I cricket.

During the fourth T20I against Mongolia, Rohmalia delivered a remarkable performance, clinching the best bowling figures in T20I history with figures of 3.2-3-0-7. This achievement surpasses the previous record held by Frederique Overdijk of the Netherlands. Rohmalia’s stellar debut also marks the best bowling figures by any player on debut in T20Is, outshining Nepal’s Anjali Chand.

This feat propelled Indonesia to victory in the encounter against Mongolia, with Ni Putu Ayu Nanda Sakarini contributing significantly with 61 off 44 balls as Indonesia posted a total of 151/5. In response, Mongolia struggled and was bowled out for just 24 runs in 16.2 overs.
