Indian Women’s League: Odisha FC Squash CRPF FC 6-0 To Begin Campaign

Ahmedabad: Odisha FC rose to a thumping victory against the CRPF FC by a thundering scoreline of 6-0 to kick off their Indian Women’s League season at the TransStadia Stadium in Ahmedabad on Thursday.

The ‘Hero of the Match’ honour went to Grace, who scored the historic first league goal for Odisha FC.

The fact that there were six different goal scorers highlighted Odisha FC’s dominance.

Brazilian Cynthia Marcondes dos Santos hit the target after Grace let the floodgates open in the 19th minute. At the very beginning of the second half, Ghanaian attacker Faustina Worwornyo Akpo made it 3-0, and Lynda added to the score three minutes into extra time.
N Bala Devi (65th) and Jasoda (67th) scored in quick succession to help the team switch ends with a 4-0 lead.
