PCB Chief Ramiz Raja Sacked After Team Suffers Humiliating Whitewash At The Hands Of England At Home

Karachi: A day after the Pakistani team suffered a humiliating 3-0 whitewash by England in a historic Test series at home, Ramiz Raja has reportedly been sacked from his position as the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

Meanwhile, Najam Sethi has been appointed as Raja’s successor.

Raja was appointed amid much excitement, but his final days in PCB were ruined by a verbal spat with the BCCI after it was learned that India might not send a team to the Asia Cup, which will be hosted in Pakistan next year.

PCB threatened to boycott the 2023 ODI World Cup, which is set to be hosted by India if BCCI chose not to send their squad for the regional competition next year.
