Pramod Bhagat Bags Two Gold Medals In Thailand Para-Badminton

Odia para-shuttler Pramod Bhagat bagged two gold medals in the singles and doubles categories of the mega tournament in Thailand on Sunday.

In the singles summit clash, Pramod defeated England’s Daniel Bethell in the first set 21-19. Bethell did not want to play in the second set. Therefore, Pramod was declared the winner and he won the gold medal in the category.

It is to be noted here that Pramod had earlier won all the league games. In the quarterfinals of the SL-3 category, he defeated Ukraine’s Oleksandr Chyrkov in straight sets in just 30 minutes. The final score was 21-15, 22-20.
