Twitter Offices Shut As Musk’s “Extremely Hardcore” Work Order Triggers Mass Resignations

San Fransisco: Hundreds of workers at Twitter have quit before the deadline Elon Musk set for them to either accept his “extremely hardcore” work order or leave the firm, causing chaos.

A number of workers announced their resignations on Twitter before the deadline of Thursday at 5 PM (US time) to comply with Musk’s new work requirements.

After the widespread layoffs, which occurred shortly after Musk took over the firm and fired over half of Twitter’s workforce, there were only about 3,000 workers left.

Consequently, workers at the Musk-owned Twitter have been told not to come to work since all office buildings will be temporarily closed starting right away.

Twitter in a statement addressed to its staff said, “access to all office buildings and badge access will be suspended until Monday, November 21.”
