Nation’s First-Ever Private Rocket To Be Launched By ISRO Today

Nellore (Andhra Pradesh): At the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota today, a Vikram Suborbital rocket will be launched for the first time ever by a private company in India. Everything is set up for the rocket launch to occur at about 11.30 AM. The launch countdown will start at 8:30 AM.

The Mission Prarambh will transport three client payloads: Space Kidz India, Bazoomq Armenia, and N-Space Tech India, according to an AIR journalist.

The single-stage rocket has sensors for securing data, including pressure and acceleration measurements. In the history of ISRO, this mission marked a turning point.

The single-stage Vikram Suborbital rocket was created by the start-up Skyroot Aerospace Private Limited, a non-governmental organisation.

The 550-kilogram rocket, which will reach a maximum altitude of 101 kilometres, will splash into the water 300 seconds after launch.

These rockets can be constructed and fired from any launch point in less than 24 hours with minimal range infrastructure. The first startup to sign an MOU with ISRO for the launch of its rockets was Skyroot. Dr. Jitendra Singh, the Union Minister for Space, is anticipated to take part in today’s launch.

In the next ten years, the startup Sky root intends to launch more than 20,000 mini-satellites. Dr. Vikram Sarabhai, the pioneer of Indian space science, is honoured by having his series bear his name. This was made possible by the rocket’s extraordinary mass production and affordability.
