FIR Against Woman Claiming Actor Turned BJP Leader Ravi Kishan is Father of Her Daughter

Lucknow: A case was filed in Lucknow against a woman who accused BJP candidate from Gorakhpur and actor Ravi Kishan of being the father of her daughter.

The police registered the case against the woman following a complaint lodged by Preeti Shukla, the wife of Ravi Kishan.

Addressing a press conference in Lucknow on Monday, a woman from Mumbai named Aparna Soni alias Aparna Thakur, claimed that Ravi Kishan is the father of her 25-year-old daughter, Shinova. She alleged that the actor-turned-politician was denying the rights of her daughter.

Reacting to the statements of the woman, Ravi Kishan’s wife Preeti registered a complaint at Hazratganj police station in Lucknow. Acting on the complaint, Lucknow police lodged an FIR against six individuals — Aparna Soni, her husband Rajesh Soni, daughter Shinova Soni, son Saunak Soni, Samajwadi Party leader Vivek Kumar Pandey, and a journalist Khurshid Khan under IPC Sections 120b, 195, 386, 388, 504 and 506.

In her complaint, Preeti Shukla alleged that Aparna Soni threatened her with her connections to the underworld.

As per the FIR, Aparna Thakur allegedly demanded an extortion sum of Rs 20 crore.
