Sexual Harassment Charges Framed Against Ex-WFI Chief Brij Bhushan

New Delhi: Charges of sexual harassment, intimidation and outraging the modesty of women were framed by a Delhi court on Tuesday against the former Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh in a criminal case filed by female wrestlers.

Before the Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (ACMM) Priyanka Rajpoot Singh, the ex-chief of the EFI pleaded not guilty to the charges and claimed trial.

The court also framed the charge of criminal intimidation against co-accused and former WFI assistant secretary Vinod Tomar in the case.

Brij Bhushan is the sitting BJP MP from Kaiserganj in Uttar Pradesh. The saffron party denied him ticket to contest the Lok Sabha poll. But the party preferred to nominate his son Karan Bhushan Singh for the Kaiserganj seat.
