Police Detain Fake Currency Handler In Anandapur

Keonjhar: Police have detained a fake currency handler in Biridiha village under Anandapur police limits in Keonjhar district today.

According to reports, the fake currency note handler has been identified as Neula Dehury of Kantipala village.

Dehury tendered a 200 rupee note at a betel shop in Biridiha village.  The betel shop owner found it to be a fake note.

Dehury was overpowered by the locals who found that he was carrying fake currency notes in denominations of Rs 100 and 200 amounting to a face value of Rs 1100.

The locals informed the police who have detained Dehury and are interrogating him about the source of the fake currency.
