Sambalpur Violence: Internet Services Suspended Till April 18

Sambalpur: The Sambalpur district administration has extended the suspension of the use and access to internet till 18 April in the district.

Reportedly, the prohibition has been effected under the provision of the Indian Telegraph Act 1885.

Notably, the Odisha Home Department, on Saturday, had extended the prohibition on the use and access of internet and data services including WhatsApp, Facebook and other social media for another 48 hours up to 10 am of April 17, 2023.

Meanwhile, Curfew timings were also relaxed. There will be a relaxation in curfew timings from 7.30 am to 11.30 am and 3.30 pm to 6 pm.
