SOP for Subhadra Yojana to be Finalised After Public Feedback: Dy CM Pravati Parida

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida revealed on Tuesday that the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the Subhadra Yojana, a new women-centric initiative, will be unveiled soon. The SOP will be finalised following input from the public, experts, and other stakeholders.

Parida highlighted that the Subhadra Yojana represents a significant step towards empowering women and improving their lives. She urged the public to avoid speculation about the scheme until the official SOP is published, assuring a streamlined and uncomplicated application process.

In her address to the media, Parida stated, “The Subhadra Yojana is designed to make 50% of women economically self-sufficient through financial support. We have developed a comprehensive roadmap and are soliciting feedback to refine the scheme and address any potential issues. Our aim is to maximize benefits for women.”

She added that collectors have been tasked with gathering stakeholder feedback by August 14. The government will review this input to assess its viability and make necessary adjustments to the SOP.
