Drunk Man’s Head Crushed by His Third Wife in Keonjhar District

Keonjhar: A woman allegedly killed her husband by crushing his head with a boulder at Kashibeda village under Ghatgaon police station limits in Keonjhar district on Thursday night.

The deceased has been identified as Sunaram Munda was allegedly killed by his third wife Sukumati Munda.

According to reports, on Thursday night, Sunaram returned home in a drunken state and beat up his third wife Sukumati. After physical assault on Sukumati, he went to a nearby field to sleep in the open.

An angry Sukumati reached there and crushed inebriated Sunaram’s head with a large stone while he was asleep. Receiving information about the incident, Sunaram’s second wife rushed him to the nearby health center, where doctors declared him ‘brought dead’.

Police have seized the body and are probing the incident.
