Woman Gets Husband Killed as He Gifts TV to His Sister!

Lucknow: A man named Chandra Prakash Mishra (35) was beaten to death by his wife’s family ahead of the wedding ceremony of his sister at a village near Barabanki in Uttar Pradesh.

According to police sources, a conflict over the gift led to the murder.

The deceased wanted to gift a gold ring and a television to his sister on her wedding, police sources said. This plan of Chandra Prakash was opposed by his wife Chabi. A heated argument occurred between the couple over the matter.

The wedding was to be held on April 26.

Irked over her husband’s decision, an infuriated Chabi called up her brothers to “teach Chandra Prakash a lesson”.

Chabi’s brothers thrashed Chandra Prakash with sticks for about an hour. He was rushed to a hospital where he died of injuries.

Police have arrested five people, including Chabi and her brothers in relation to the murder.
