UP Man Kills Wife, Then Murders Eyewitness Children, Spends 3 Nights With Bodies

Lucknow: A 32-year-old man strangled his wife to death, then killed his two children who were eyewitnesses to the murder of their murder in Lucknow. The accused spent three nights with their corpses till the bodies decomposed and gave out a foul smell.

The accused identified as Ram Lagan strangled his 30-year-ols wife Jyoti with her dupatta in front of their children alleging that she was having an extra-marital affair, said police sources. Then he killed his two children – Payal (6) and Anand (3) – as they had seen the killing. These murders were committed in the Saravan Nagar area of Lucknow’s Bijnor locality.

Ram Lagan was married for seven years. On March 28 night, the couple had an argument as the accused suspected that the deceased was having an extra-marital relation. On the same night, he killed his wife and the children.

After committing the triple murder, he spent three nights with the bodies. He was leaving home during the day and was returning back at night.

The landlord of his rented house suspected something fishy when a foul smell started to come out of the house. The landlord entered the house and found the three bodies stuffed in a sack, said the police.

Ram Lagan had planned to dispose the bodies but could not succeed in his attempt. Police have arrested him and he has confessed his crime.
