Drunkard Man Axes Wife, 2 Daughters to Death in Jharkhand, Arrested

Ranchi: A woman and her two minor daughters were hacked to death allegedly by her drunkard husband in Jharkhand’s West Singhbhum district.

The accused was arrested by the police. He was reportedly in an inebriated condition when he committed the murders.

This gruesome incident occurred in the Ludrabasa village under Muffasil police station limits on the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday.

The accused Gurucharan Padiya and his wife Jano used to quarrel regularly over his liquor addiction.

At around 2.30 am on Tuesday, the couple had a quarrel. In a fit of rage, Padiya used an axe to kill his wife and their daughters aged 5 years and 1 year.
