CPI-M Gen Secy Sitaram Yechury Admitted to Delhi AIIMS

New Delhi: CPI-M general secretary Sitaram Yechury was admitted to the emergency department of Delhi AIIMS after he complained of a high fever on Monday evening.

He was in the hospital for a checkup. He was admitted due to pneumonia. “There is nothing serious, he has been admitted due to pneumonia,” PTI quoted sources as saying.

The source added that the 72-year-old politician is in stable condition.
