Odisha Govt Launches Toll-Free Helpline Number for Subhadra Yojana

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has launched a toll-free number to provide information about the Subhadra Yojana. Managed by the Women and Child Development (W&CD) Department, the number 14678 is now available for inquiries from 6 AM to 10 PM.

The Subhadra Yojana, which will be launched between the 2024-25 and 2028-29 financial years, has a budget allocation of Rs 55,825 crore. The scheme will offer beneficiaries Rs 10,000 annually, distributed in two installments on Raksha Bandhan and International Women’s Day (March 8). Over five years, each beneficiary will receive a total of Rs 50,000.

The BJP government is set to officially roll out the scheme on September 17.
