3 More Including a Couple Arrested For Selling Subhadra Yojana Application Forms in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Three more persons including a young couple were arrested by the Commissionerate Police on Friday for allegedly collecting Rs 200 each for the application form and registration for the Subhadra Yojana in Bhubaneswar.

The arrested couple identified as Sasmita Jena and her husband Ranjit Jena was nabbed from the Chandrasekhapur area of Bhubaneswar. They ran a Jana Seva Kendra and were allegedly demanding Rs 200 from each applicant for the Subhadra Yojana application forms.

Another Jana Seva Kendra employee named Ratikant Sahu was arrested from Kharvela Nagar for selling Subhadra application forms which are to be distributed free.

The accused have been booked under under Sections 31 (A), 296, 132, 3(5) BNS.
