Ravindra Jadeja Creates A First Ever Test Record In 147 Years of Cricket History

India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has registered a record that no other players had managed to achieve in the 147-year history of cricket.

Jadeja has become the first-ever player to score 2000 plus runs and has taken over 200 wickets in a winning match in Test cricket.

He achieved this unique feat during India’s first Test against Bangladesh in Chennai.

Ravichandran Ashwin is in the fray to equal Jadeja. Ashwin has already scored 1943 runs and taken 369 wickets in a winning cause in Test cricket.

Sometime during the Kanpur Test, Jadeja, now standing at 299 wickets and 3122 runs, may join an elite club of cricketers to have achieved the grand double of 300 wickets and 3000 runs in the Test cricket.

Only 10 players, including Ashwin and Kapil Dev from India, have achieved this mark in the history of cricket.
