1 Dead 5 Injured as Mo Bus Hits Car on Puri-Konark Marine Drive

Puri: One person died and five others were seriously injured in a  head-on collision between a Mo Bus and a car on Puri-Konark Marine Drive on Monday.

The car was on its way to Bhubaneswar from Chandrabhaga while the Mo Bus was traveling to Konark from Puri.

The driver of the Mo Bus was seriously injured in the accident. The bus lost control after the collision with the car and hit a roadside tree.

A passenger in the car died on the spot. Five others in the car were seriously injured. They were rushed to the Puri District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) for treatment.

As the condition of two of the two injured deteriorated, they were immediately shifted to the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.
