10-Yr-Old Girl Marries Boyfriend Before She Dies of Cancer in US

Emma Edwards, a 10-year-old girl who was on her deathbed fighting leukemia, fulfilled her final wish by marrying her childhood sweetheart just days before her tragic death.

In April 2022, Emma was diagnosed to be suffering from acute lymphoblastic leukemia. There was little chance of survival.

In June, the hospital informed Emma had only a few days left to live.

Emma Edwards always dreamt to marry her boyfriend, the young Daniel Marshall Christopher Williams Junior, affectionately known as DJ. They also had a mock “wedding” during their school days, a memory that brought smiles to all who knew them.

Learning of their innocent desire, both Emma and DJ’s mother felt compelled to make the marriage a reality.

Family and friends rallied together to ensure Emma’s dream would come true. On June 29, a wedding ceremony was held for the couple, with around 100 attendees witnessing their heartfelt union.

Sadly, on July 11, Emma’s battle came to an end.
