12 Die as Autorickshaw & Tanker Collide Head-On in UP

Lucknow: Twelve persons travelling in an auto-rickshaw died in a head-on collision with a tanker plying on the wrong side of the road on Thursday morning on the Bareilly-Farrukhabad road near Sugsugi village in the Allahaganj police station area in Uttar Pradesh.

Reduced visibility due to dense fog is said to be a reason behind this accident. According to police sources, all the 12 victims died on the spot as the tanker hit the auto-rickshaw coming from the Jalalabad side.

The deceased included women, elderly people and children. The victims are yet to be identified.
