12-Hour Bandh by BJP in Sundargarh Demanding CBI Probe Into Asst Collector’s Death

Sundargarh: A dawn-to-dusk bandh call given by the BJP disrupted the normal life in Sundargarh district on Thursday. The local BJP unit has given this bandh call demanding a CBI probe into the deaths of Rourkela Assistant Collector Sushmita Minz and Udit Nagar police Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Alisa Narmi Lugun.

Vehicular movement was affected and several offices, banks, shops, business establishments, and educational institutions remained closed due to the bandh. BJP supporters demonstrated and blocked roads at various places in the district.

Emergency services were excluded from the ambit of the bandh.
