2 Killed as Speeding Car Crashes to Parked Truck on NH16 in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Two persons died when their speeding car hit a parked truck near Pahala on NH 16 on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar late at night on Friday. The car with registration number OD02 BE 4699 coming from the Cuttack side hit the back side of the stationary truck.

According to police sources, this accident occurred at around 2.30 am on Friday night. Receiving information about the accident, personnel of the Pahala Fire Services unit rushed to the accident spot and rescued three persons from the mangled vehicle.

All of them were shifted to the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack where doctors declared two of them dead. Another critically injured person is undergoing treatment. The identity of the deceased has not been ascertained.
