2 Terrorists Killed in Pulwama Encounter with Security Forces

Srinagar: In a swift operation on Monday, security forces neutralized two terrorists during an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Acting on specific intelligence regarding a terrorist hideout in the Nihama area, security forces launched a cordon and search operation. The situation escalated into an encounter after the hidden terrorists opened fire on the approaching security personnel.

“The search party retaliated effectively, leading to the elimination of the two terrorists,” confirmed Inspector General of Police, Kashmir, V K Birdhi.

Authorities are currently working to identify the slain terrorists and their affiliation with any militant group.
