3 Arrested in Rourkela in Loco Pilot Kidnapping, Loot Case

Bhubaneswar: Three persons were arrested by the Rourkela Police on Wednesday from Bhubaneswar in connection with the case of abduction and loot from a loco pilot named Nihar Sarkar on June 23.

A car used by the accused was also seized by the police. As per reports, the miscreants allegedly kidnapped the loco pilot on June 23 and looted Rs 1.24 lakh cash and gold chain from him on June 23 from the Chhend area of Rourkela.

Sarkar complained that the accused also took away the two SIM cards from his mobile phone and handed him the handset. They left him at an isolated place before escaping. He had

filed a complaint regarding it at the Chhend police station.
