30 Houses Gutted in Fire Accident in Puri Dist, 3 Cows Burnt Alive

Puri: At least 30 houses were gutted in a fire accident at Alisa village of Satyabadi block in  Puri district in the wee hours of Tuesday.

One person was injured while three cows were burnt alive in the mishap.

According to reports, the fire broke out in a house in the village at around 2.00 am. The fire rapidly spread out to other houses in the vicinity.

By the time the fire services personnel reached the village after getting the information, more than 30 thatched houses of the village were already turned to ashes.

The fire accident has rendered around 15 families homeless. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
