6.1 Magnitude Earthquake in Afghanistan Shakes Delhi & Adjoining Areas

New Delhi: Earthquake tremors were experienced in Delhi and its adjoining areas on Thursday afternoon. The tremors were felt at 2.50 pm.

According to the National Center for Seismology, the epicentre of the magnitude 6.1 earthquake was near Afghanistan.

These tremors were also felt in Pakistan’s Lahore, and parts of Jammu and Kashmir.

There were no immediate reports of any loss of life or damage to property due to the earthquake.
