Mehbooba Mufti Escapes Narrowly as Her Car Meets an Accident

Srinagar: Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Mehbooba Mufti escaped unhurt when the car in which she was travelling met with an accident on Thursday afternoon.

The accident occurred at Sangam in Jammu and Kashmir’s  Anantnag district.

The black Scorpio of Mehbooba Mufti collided with the car of a civilian. The bonnet of the car was completely mangled. But luckily the former CM was unhurt. But a police officer in her personal security was injured.

Mehbooba Mufti was travelling to Khanabal to meet the victims of a fire accident. “Ms Mufti’s car met with a terrible accident enroute Anantnag today. Thanks to the grace of god she & her security officers escaped unhurt without any serious injuries,” her daughter Iltija posted on X.

The PDP chief went ahead with her scheduled visit.
