6 COVID Deaths, 702 New Cases Detected in India in Past 24 Hours

New Delhi: During the past 24 hours, 702 new COVID cases were detected in the country, according to the Union Health Ministry on Thursday.

During this period, six more people succumbed to the disease. Two deaths were reported from Maharashtra and one each from Kerala, Karnataka, Delhi and West Bengal.

According to data from the Health Ministry, Kerala reported the highest with 385 new cases, followed by Karnataka 103 and Maharashtra 87.

As per the data, the active cases stand at 4,097.
