9-Yr-Old Boy Shot Dead 6-Yr-Old in Florida Home in US

A 9-year-old boy shot dead a 6-year-old this week in Florida of US. The 9-year-old boy got hold of a gun kept in his Florida home, reported CNN.

The bullet pierced the head of the younger child.  Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Assistant Chief J.D. Stronko said in a news conference that an adult at home has been questioned by authorities. There is no indication of criminal violence and one has been charged with a crime.

Investigation is on to ascertain under what condition this firing incident occurred, whether the firearm was kept under a secured lock or not.

Earlier this year, a pregnant woman in the United States was accidentally shot dead by her 2-year-old son who took out his father’s handgun from a drawer.
