ED Arrests AAP MP Sanjay Singh Following Raids at His Delhi Residence

New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on Wednesday following raids at his home related to the Delhi liquor policy case.

Singh faced more than 10 hours of questioning by the central probe agency in relation to a money laundering case associated with the Delhi liquor policy.

Additionally, the residences of several individuals connected to the AAP MP were also searched in connection to this case.

The Enforcement Directorate had previously included Sanjay Singh’s name in its charge sheet. The investigation agency stated that Dinesh Arora, a middleman, claimed to have met Singh during an event at his restaurant, Unplugged Courtyard.

Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal strongly criticized the raids on his party’s MP, asserting that this move reflected the BJP’s desperation as they face potential defeat in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
