After ED, CBI Arrests BRS Leader K Kavitha in Delhi Excise Policy Case

New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on arrested BRS leader K Kavitha on Thursday in connection with a corruption case linked to the now-scrapped Delhi excise policy.

This comes days after a Delhi court had given permission to the central probe agency to interrogate the BRS MLA.

Kavitha is the daughter of former Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao. She is already in Delhi’s Tihar jail after her arrest by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in a money laundering case linked to the now scrapped Delhi excise policy.

On Monday, a Delhi court denied her interim bail in the money laundering case filed against her by the ED.
