Rs 60 Cr Spent on 6-Minute Jatara Scene of Allu Arjun in Pushpa 2

Hyderabad: Director Sukumar is reported to have spent Rs60 on the much-talked-about jatara scene in Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna-starrer ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’. A recently released teaser of the movie gave a glimpse of this jatara scene.

A report by News18 states a whopping Rs 60 crore was spent to shoot this jatara scene.

In the teaser, Allu’s Pushpa Raj can be seen dressed in Mathangi vesham for the Gangamma Thalli jatara in Tirupati. He is seen in a blue pattu saree with body paint on, wearing jhumkas, necklaces, bangles, nose pin, gunghroo and more.

A report by the News 18 website claims that the makers spent about Rs 60 crore to shoot this six-minute scene in 30 days.

Allu Arjun even got severe back pain but completed the scenes in December 2023.

News18 reports that the makers sold the film’s digital rights for Rs 100 crore, but the film’s team has not confirmed it.

‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ will release in Telugu, Hindi and other south Indian languages on August 15, 2024.
