Agricultural Scientist Dies During Live Show on Doordarshan

Thiruvananthapuram: Dr Ani S Das, (59), an agriculture scientist collapsed and died during a live show telecast on Doordarshan on Friday. Dr was the Director, Planning, at the Kerala Agricultural University. He died during a live discussion being telecast from the Thiruvanathapuram studio of the Doordarshan.

Dr Das suddenly collapsed during Doordarshan’s Krishi Darshan programme at around 6.30 pm. He was immediately rushed to the Medical College Hospital in Thiruvananthapuram, but the doctors could not save him.
