AI Start-Up CEO Arrested for Killing Her 4-Yr-Old Son in Goa

Bengaluru: The CEO of a Bengaluru-based AI start-up, Suchana Seth (39) was arrested on Monday for murdering her 4-year-old son at a Goa hotel. She was nabbed by Karnataka Police from Chitradurga while she was escaping in a taxi after murdering her son at a Goa hotel and packing his body in a bag.

Her violent act came to light when a cleaning staff of the Goa hotel where she stayed, discovered blood stains on the sheets of her room after she checked out. She had into a hotel in North Goa’s Sinquerim on January 6.

After being informed, Goa police reached the spot and suspected that it was a case of murder.

According to the police, the CEO killed her son in the hotel room and arranged a taxi to travel back to Bengaluru with the body of the boy stuffed in a bag. She was nabbed with the help of Karnataka Police in Chitradurga district while on the way to Bengaluru

She initially told the police that she had left her son with a relative in South Goa. But an investigation proved that she had killed her son.

A team from the Goa’s Calangute Police left for Karnataka to the woman into custody for interrogation. The reason behind this murder is being investigated.
