Vigilance Officials Raid Nayagarh MVI to Unearth Disproportionate Assets

Bhubaneswar: To unearth alleged disproportionate assets amassed by Panchanan Behera, MVI, Nayagarh, Odisha, officials of the state vigilance department raided properties linked to him on Tuesday.

These simultaneous search operations were led by 6 DSPs, 3 Inspectors, 8 ASIs, and other staff of Odisha Vigilance.

The searches are being conducted on the strength of search warrants issued by Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar. These raids are continuing at seven places in Khurdha, Nayagarh, and Cuttack districts:

*A double-storeyed building located at Sailashree Vihar, Bhubaneswar.

*A single-storeyed house located at Pandara, Bhubaneswar.

*A rented house of Behera located at Nayagarh.

*The office chamber of Behera in the premises of the office of Nayagarh RTO.

*Behera’s paternal house at Baliapada village in Salipur of Cuttack district.

*A house of his relative located at Govindpur village under Nilgiripatna police limits in Khurdha district.

*The house of another relative of Behera located at Satya Vihar, Pandara in Bhubaneswar.
