BJP Leaders Rally Behind PM Modi with ‘Modi ka Parivar’ Campaign After Lalu Yadav’s ‘No Family’ Jibe

New Delhi: In response to RJD supremo Lalu Yadav’s recent comments questioning Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s family status, BJP leaders, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP national president JP Nadda, initiated a social media campaign called ‘Modi ka Parivar’.

The campaign aims to counter Yadav’s remarks by showcasing solidarity with PM Modi. As part of this effort, BJP leaders and their supporters have added ‘Modi ka Parivar’ to their social media profile names on various platforms.

Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, Kiren Rijiju, and several other prominent BJP figures also joined the campaign, demonstrating their support for PM Modi.

Yadav’s comments, made on Sunday, suggested that PM Modi’s criticism of political dynasties stems from his own lack of a family. He also questioned Modi’s Hindu faith, referencing a perceived failure to observe mourning rituals for his mother’s passing in 2022.

In response, Prime Minister Modi emphasized that his family encompasses all 140 crore citizens of India, highlighting his commitment to serving the nation’s people. He rebuffed Yadav’s remarks during an address in Telangana, asserting his dedication to the welfare of every Indian, regardless of familial ties.

Modi also took a dig at Yadav, suggesting that similar criticisms might extend to his own legal history, sarcastically implying, “Tomorrow they can also say that you have never been sentenced to jail, hence you cannot enter politics.”

Union Minister Piyush Goyal condemned Yadav’s comments, stating that the nation will not forgive such disparaging remarks against PM Modi.
