Bodies of 2 Leopards of Dudhwa Tiger Reserve Found in UP

Lucknow: Bodies of two leopards were discovered in a sugarcane field in the Dhaurahra range area of the Dudhwa buffer zone near Tandpurwa village of Dhaurahra tehsil in Uttar Pradesh.

According to the authorities of the Dudhwa Tiger Reserve (DTR), bodies of two male leopards, estimated to be two years old were found. These big cats died in a territorial fighting on Thursday. Puncture wounds made by the large canine of the big cats were found on the bodies of the animals.

The post-mortem of the leopards was conducted at the Dhaurahra range concluded that the death of the two leopards was caused by infighting.
