Wild Leopard that Killed 2 in Nuapada Shifted to Sambalpur Zoo

Sambalpur: A stray wild leopard that killed a woman and a minor boy in Odisha’s Nuapada district was shifted to Sambalpur Zoo on Wednesday morning amid tight security.

The Sambalpur DFO monitored the shifting process of the captured big cat.

This man-eater leopard was captured by forest officials at Kodapali in the Dharma Bandha area under the Sadar Forest Range in the Nuapada district on November 4 night.

The wild leopard was spotted on a building in the locality and a five-member team of forest officials could trap and capture it.
