Wild Leopard Mauls Man to Death in Sambalpur Dist

Sambalpur: A wild leopard attacked and killed a man near Sahedi village under the Nakatideula forest range in the Rairakhol block of Odisha’s Sambalpur district on Friday.

The victim was identified as Shada Munda. He was in the forest to collect firewood when he faced the leopard attack. When he did not return back home for long, his family members searched for him in the forest and located his body.

After getting information, forest department officials reached the spot, seized the body and sent it for autopsy. An investigation has been initiated to probe into the matter.
