BPUT Declares Holiday for Srimandir Parikrama Project Inauguration, Reschedules Exams

Bhubaneswar: For the inauguration ceremony of the Srimandir Parikrama Project in Puri, the Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT) announced January 17 (Wednesday) as a holiday.

Through a notification, the BPUT informed that the University, its constituted/affiliated colleges and the Centre for UG & PG Studies (CUPGS) will remain closed on Wednesday.

Because of this, the exams scheduled for Wednesday in BPUT-affiliated colleges have also been rescheduled. As per the BPUT notification, the 2nd and 3rd phase Odd Semester (Regular/Back) Offline Examinations-2023-24 have been rescheduled. The exams scheduled for January 17 have been rescheduled for January 21.

Earlier, the Odisha Revenue and Disaster Management department had directed all the State government offices as well as the Revenue and Magisterial courts to remain closed on January 17 for the inauguration ceremony in Puri.
